The biggest advantage of using external style sheets is that you will be able to change the appearance and layout of all the pages in a Web site, just by editing one single file. HTML is the set of markup symbols or codes placed in a file intended for display on a web browser. The web browser renders the code in the HTML file and displays the web page document and associated files. The W3C sets the standards for HTML.

To find the perfect color combination for a web site is not an easy task. There are some color rules such as analogous, monochromatic, complementary, and compound, which help to find an appealing color scheme. Colors help to engage websites’ visitor to stay in the your web page. Thus it is important to take the time to pick a set of colors in order to create a successful web site.

Wireframe is a sketch of the page layout for the website. It can give us an idea of how the web page will look like. For example, a web site may contain  a site logo, a navigation area, a content area, a footer area, and so on. Therefore if we are design a web site for a client we can show the website’s very first look and if the client is satisfied we can go on and take the next step.

We can say that the sitemap is the first step to build a web site. It is basically the representation of the navigation structure for a site. Before anything else can be created we have to know how the user access and move around the content of a web site. Once we have created the sitemap we are ready to take the next step.




day one

 The first day of class we were past through with the class policies and what we were going to do the whole semester, and for what I saw, I find it very interesting. Also we crated a blog in WordPress.com and learned how to move around the WordPress web site interface.
